The Big Horn 70139 Latch Mortise Tool marks a preparation in the edge of the door for a 2-1/4” high x 1” wide x square corner latchbolt. Shortens the amount of time it takes to prep a door for a latchbolt. This is very similar to the discontinued Kwikset tool.
