Is the Belsaw Model 200 the most popular key machine in the world? The Model 200 was manufactured by The Belsaw Company and then The Foley-Belsaw Company from 1961 to 2017. That was a 46-year run, with hundreds of thousands of machines sold with the Locksmith Training Programs. It was billed as a 3-in-1 Key Machine that could be used for duplicating brass keys, steel keys, and as a rudimentary code cutting machine that could be used with spacing keys. There was an optional code-cutting kit available that added a second micrometer to handle the spacing measurements. Many locksmiths still use the Model 200 for their day-to-day key duplication while others keep the machine just for cutting steel keys. The machine originally came with 3 cutters and 3 tracer guides. Common wear parts like bushings, cutters, belts, and tracer guides are still available for the Model 200. The Model 200 is sometimes misidentified as the K-350 for the casting number on the base of the machine.
